Following a very successful year Camden Rugby Club will be holding it's Annual General Meeting at Camden Rugby Park on Friday 20th November at 7pm.

All Members of Camden Rugby Club are invited to attend, There will be drinks and light food available.

Canterbury (CCC) Warehouse Sale

One of our many great sponsors Canterbury are having a warehouse sale from Thursday 12th November to Sunday 15th November.The Sale will take place at 219 - 231 Botany Road, Waterloo NSW.

On Sale will be many Very, Very Cheap Canterbury items including clothing and Jersey's for Men and Women.

Touch comp

Thanks to everyone who came down to the registration night last Wednesday, we will have our eight teams for the touch comp this year.

I ask for everyone to be at the ground at 6pm on Wednesday so we can finish off registration and hand out the team shirts. The first games will be commencing at about 6.30pm however, the gates will be open for people at 5pm if you wish to come down earlier.

2010 Illawarrior Representatives

After a successful season the accolades continue, this time for some talented individuals who will be representing the Rams as part of the 2010 Senior and U/20 Illawarrior Representative squads. No doubt they will continue to export the fine traditions of Camden Rugby at a higher level.

Touch comp

After a successful year it's time to get the ball rolling for 2010 with the Camden Rugby Touch Comp.

Registration will be on Wednesday 7 October 2009 from 6pm at the club house. 

For the competition to commence on Wednesday 14 October 2009.

Costs will be $30pp (that will include t-shirts for each team member).

We are aiming to have 8 teams, so please get your teams together ASAP.

Junior Presentation Day - Sunday 18th October

Please be at Camden Rugby Park for our presentation day.

Presentation to commence 12.00 noon.

Sausage BBQ and a surprise activity for the younger kids will keep them entertained for the afternoon.

Please bring the picnic blanket,munchies and BYO Refreshments for a afternoon of activities and socialising.

Under 10's -v- Shamrocks

The U10’s played Shamrocks at Wire Lane.

Shamrocks: 19

Camden: 15

It was an extremely hard fought battle. The defence shown by both teams was outstanding and many attacking raids were shut down by text book tackles. Both teams got across the try line three times but in the end the game was decided by conversions. The Shamrocks converted 2 of their 3 tries and unfortunately we missed all 3.

Everyone played really well, our forwards kept us going forward and set a very good platform for the backs to launch their attacks.
