Cockatoos Coming to Campbelltown

One of the longest inter-state rivalries in Australian Rugby will be reignited this weekend when the NRMA NSW Country Cockatoos play the Queensland Country Heelers. 

The match will be hosted by the Campbelltown Rugby Club at Campbelltown Showground on Saturday, 4 July 2015 with the match kicking off at 1.30pm. 

Both the New South Wales and Queensland Country Rugby Unions have long histories and proud traditions, and any fixture between the two Unions always has the makings for a fiercely contested match.

With the Battle of the Borders Cup up for grabs both teams will be keen to take out the match, as the Heelers will be trying to retain the Cup while the Cockatoos will be hell bent on lifting it from the northerners’ possession.
