Once again Camden Rugby Union Club has excelled itself with the staging of the Shute Shield game on Saturday. Both clubs were impressed with our facilities and Norths have said they would entertain holding another game at Camden, so well done to everyone involved.

Northern Suburbs had a successful day on the field winning all four grades.

1st Grade

Special mention to the following people who worked tirelessly to make this day a success, Wayne Cusack, John Matthews, John Richardson, Peter McBride, Peter Windle, Bruce Hughes, David Black, Greg Wine, Phillip Wakeford, Phillip Holder, Allan Nunan, Grant Millar, Alec Kimber, Warren Kay-Spratley, Peter Munday and Lyle Mclean.

Special thanks to the ladies in the canteen who ensured the hungry masses were all catered for and ensuring the blokes on the BBQ were kept busy with bacon and egg rolls all day.

The first round of the Illawarra rugby season is on the 2nd of April, the boys will be at home to Shoalhaven and our Golden Oldies Galal Day is on Sunday the 17th of April.
