2017 Junior Coaching Positions

Camden Junior Rugby Club is looking for motivated, skilled and experienced parents or individuals who are interested in coaching or managing one of our teams for the 2017 season.

Season 2016 saw our club finish with 2 premierships & another 2 teams make it to the Grand Finals for their age groups. It's important that the clubs builds on the successes of this year & continue to promote Rugby in our local community.
The Juniors are looking to field teams in the following age groups; 7’s, 8’s, 9’s, 10’s 11’s, 12’s, 13’s & 2nd XV for 2017. The aims of junior rugby at Camden are fairly simple; fun, enjoyment, participation, development of skills & to play to the best of our abilities. Kids that enjoy playing rugby for Camden will be the kids that come back & play for us in future seasons.

All coaches & parents who are going to actively coach or assist with training (assistant coaches) will need to be smart rugby compliant for the 2017 season. Smart Rugby is an online course that is available to all rugby participants.

For the lower age groups, it is preferred but not essential that coaches have attended a ‘coaching kids rugby’ course & for the older age groups, a ‘foundation’ coaching course should be seen as the minimum requirement.

The club is willing to assist anyone that is wanting to further their rugby education through ARU accredited coaching courses.

The club will be looking to finalise positions for the 2017 season by mid-December.

So if you think your up for the challenge of herding cats or dealing with groups of teenagers or anything in between, & think you can work with the above mentioned club ethos in mind, we would love for you to be part of our club. Interested parties are asked to please submit their applications via email to juniors@camdenrugby.com.au by the end of November 2016
