A Golden Oldies Invitation From "Storky"

The Viking Longhorns, which is the Golden Oldies Rugby Arm of Vikings Rugby Club, is taking a touring party to the Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival, which will be held in Christchurch New Zealand, from April 22 to April 29 next year. This will be the 13th World Festival the Longhorns will have attended.

Any people with an interest in Golden Oldies Rugby, would be very welcome to join the touring party. The group numbers about twenty at present and includes some unaccompanied players, some players and partners and some non-players who just want to have fun at a very special Rugby event, coupled with a holiday in New Zealand for most. The Festival will involve many teams from many countries. The Longhorns have registered to play at a social level, so participants need have no fear of not being good enough to take part.

The touring party will be getting together at a few barbecues between now and the Festival to make some decisions and enjoy each other’s company. First instalments are due ASAP but are refundable up to early next year if cancellations become necessary.
