February Working Bee

This Saturday the 12th of February, Camden Rugby will be holding a preseason working bee.

The 2011 season is coming up fast and we need to get the clubhouse and the grounds ready for the great year to come. There is large amount of work that needs to be completed to ensure the clubhouse and grounds remain the best in Illawarra. Come down and lend a hand as this is the players club, so we would love to see as many willing workers as possible.

Time: 10am

Camden Rugby -Juniors Registration

Our Junior registration with be held at Narellan Town Centre ( Outside Sports Spirit) on Saturday 12th Febuary 2011 from 10am till 2.00pm

We will also complete registrations at the clubhouse on Saturday 19th Febuary 2011 from 10 am till 2.00pm

Pre-Season Training Starts Today

Season 2011 begins!

Training begins today, Tuesday the 1st of February at 6:30pm.

Training will be held at the rugby club (Wire Lane) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please Arrive early and come meet the coaches and other players.

January Muster to help out flood victims

January's Muster will be held on the 28th of January at the Clubhouse, Wire Lane between 6-8pm. This will be the last opportunity for senior players to gather before the season starts and the grind of training kicks in. We also encourage parents of Juniors and Golden Oldies to come along for a drink and conversations as Camden extends a helping hand to the victims of the recent QLD Floods and a collection/raffle will be made on the night. if you would like to donate before hand or if you can't make it on the night please visit: http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html

Camden Rugby goes into Bat for the McGrath Foundation

On Saturday members of Camden Rugby participated in a T20 cricket match, which leads into the Pre-season and gathers players post-Christmas to begin the focus on season 2011. This event was surrounded by fun, frivolity and some emerging talent. However the most pleasing aspect of the day was the generosity displayed by the players and spectators. A collection was done and over $250 was donated to the McGrath Foundation, which will aid the funding of Breast Care Nurses and awareness of the Breast Cancer in Australia. A big congratulations must be given to all in attendance for an important cause.

Camden Rugby Twenty20 Cricket

Let the festive season continue with the Camden Rugby Mid Summer Twenty20 Cricket match set for January 8th at Belgenny Oval. Food and drink will be available (for a small donation to charity). Christmas Eve at the Camden Valley Inn

Xmas Eve At the CVI- 6pm-7pm, get your 'players' wristband from Mark Singh for an hour of of complimentary drinks and food, celebrate the year that was and the festive season from the Camden Rugby Tables in the Beer Garden. Mark Singh will be there from 5:30.
