July is the Cancer Council "Call to Arms" month,

The "Call to Arms" month is a program where sporting clubs can host a "fundraising match" to help the fight against cancer.

Vikings Rugby Club are hosting such a match on the 10th July!

The annual Camden Rugby Lunch is on again, this years guest speaker is NSW Waratahs head coach Chris Hickey, who is attending with an un-named Waratah's player.

When: Friday 6th August

Where: Camden Rugby Park

At last month’s committee meeting, the committee decided to form a Retention and Recruitment Sub-committee.

The role of the sub-committee is to:

1st: Camden 24 Kiama 35

2nd: Camden 17 Kiama 19

3rd: Camden 33 Kiama 14

This Saturday and Sunday, Camden Rugby is hosting the under 12 State Championships. Get down to Camden Rugby Park, Wire Lane to see some future stars in action.

Thousands in action at NSW State Champs over June long weekend

More than 2560 Junior Club rugby players from all 4 corners of NSW plus ACT and Victoria will compete in the NSWJRU State Championships over the June long weekend. The Championships is the biggest carnival in the country with preliminary rounds held across 7 venues in Sydney, Camden and Orange, culminating in the Under 11 to 17’s Finals at Eastwood’s T.G. Millner Field on Monday 14 June.

On the 5th of June at Camden Rugby Park (Wire Lane), Camden Rams will be hosting two big events

Due to the wet conditions in the Illawarra, Avondales ground is flooded and has been closed.

This means that we have offered to play both rounds against avondale at home. So be sure to make your way Camden Rugby Park this saturday.

Back to Camden Day was an extra special occassion for one past player, Toby Searle, who was presented with a commemerative Jersey to celebrate his 200th game which was achieved last year. Toby has been involved in the club for many years and has had an illustrious career.

Congratulations to Dean Murdoch, Pottsy and Michael Messina who were part of the Under 17's Junior Illawarriors team to win the Country Championships last weekend in Armidale.  Extra congrats to Michael Messina who was selected into the U17's NSW Country Team.

Camden Rugby Club has taken hold of the Illawarra rugby competition with another three nil wipe of the opposition last Saturday at Kiama Showground.
