Camden U18 players have been honoured with representative selections and awards recently.

Brady Millar was selected into the Sydney South West Rugby Union side competing at the Combined High Schools carnival in Armidale recently.  Well done, Brady.   

Rams run over Engadine Lions

Camden Rams First XV broke a streak of losses with an emphatic and entertaining victory over the Engadine Lions at Wire Lane. The victory not only showed the true potential of a young but an injury hit Camden unit but also sealed the first Saturday clean sweep since round 3.

Cancer Council - Call to Arms

July is the Cancer Council "Call to Arms" month,

The "Call to Arms" month is a program where sporting clubs can host a "fundraising match" to help the fight against cancer.

Vikings Rugby Club are hosting such a match on the 10th July!

Camden Rugby Club will be supporting Vikings Rugby Club and the Cancer Council on the 10th July.

Camden Rugby Major Sponsor Canterbury Clothing Company (CCC) have kindly donated a Signed Wallabies jersey to be placed in a raffle.

Rugby Lunch

The annual Camden Rugby Lunch is on again, this years guest speaker is NSW Waratahs head coach Chris Hickey, who is attending with an un-named Waratah's player.

When: Friday 6th August

Where: Camden Rugby Park

Time: 12 noon

Cost: $70 per head - includes lunch and drinks

Retention and Recruitment Sub-Committee

At last month’s committee meeting, the committee decided to form a Retention and Recruitment Sub-committee.

The role of the sub-committee is to:

  • Develop plans to retain present players
  • Seek out new players
  • Make recommendations concerning coaching appointments

Fiji Day At Camden Rugby

On the 5th of June at Camden Rugby Park (Wire Lane), Camden Rams will be hosting two big events

  • 3 tuff and entertaining games of rugby starting from 12:15pm and main game at 3pm against Shoalhaven
  • Fiji Day

For this day we encourage all to come dressed in Traditional Fiji Attire.

After speech's we will have the Wallabies vs Fiji on the big screen, with Mark & Singha preparing a "Lovo" (a great feed) at a cost of $10. This will be a great event with traditional Fiji song and dance throughout the evening.
