UPDATE -- Camden Vs Avondale -- 29th May

Due to the wet conditions in the Illawarra, Avondales ground is flooded and has been closed.

This means that we have offered to play both rounds against avondale at home. So be sure to make your way Camden Rugby Park this saturday.

Games will be at normal times.

3rd Grade -- 12:15pm
2nd Grade -- 1:30pm
1st Grade -- 3:00pm

Tech trounce Rams

1st: Camden 28 Tech-Tahs 54

2nd: Camden 38 Tech-Tahs 0

3rd: Camden 3 Tech-Tahs 6

Round eight on the Illawarra rugby calendar saw the Camden Rams travel south to face the Wollongong Tech Waratahs last Saturday.

As usual the third XV’s began the day where Camden kicked out on the full nullifying any chance of an early attack. Penalties to either side early on saw the score levelled at 3 – 3 yet missed opportunities from both sides kept the scorers at bay.

Congratulations to Toby Searle

Back to Camden Day was an extra special occassion for one past player, Toby Searle, who was presented with a commemerative Jersey to celebrate his 200th game which was achieved last year. Toby has been involved in the club for many years and has had an illustrious career. We congratulate Toby and hope to see him around the club for many years to come.

Engadine edge out Rams

1sts Camden 13 Vs Engadine 14

Camden have experienced their second loss on the trot in disappointing circumstances in going down 14-13 to a desperate Engadine Lions at Yarrawarrah. Camden started slow and could not get the run of the green in a game where a disallowed try, missed conversion and penalty attempts counted heavily against Camden in a one point loss.

 

Back to Camden Day

To Players and Fans, Past and Present:

Saturday the 15th of May will be the annual "Back to Camden Day". The Day celebrates our rich history and invites all past players back to Wire Lane to enjoy the present and future of Camden Rugby. Camden will be playing University in all grades from 12:15pm with the main game on at 3pm. Refreshments and a BBQ will be provided for ex-players.

Vikings Vanquish inform Rams

Camden has remained on top of the Illawarra club championship after winning two from their three games in their Round four clash with Wollongong’s Vikings side last Saturday.
Camden’s third XV stamped their intentions on the competition after wiping Vikings clean off the field in a 22 – 0 nil victory.

Kiama's Kastle Krumbles

Camden Rugby Club has taken hold of the Illawarra rugby competition with another three nil wipe of the opposition last Saturday at Kiama Showground.

The Round three clash saw all three of Camden's grades come off with resounding wins over their  opposition respectively. Cementing their club championship lead after wins over Bowral and Wollondilly.
