Happy New Year Camden Rugby!

Welcome to Season 2010, following a successful 2009, This new year promises to be,

The Year Rams return to dominate Illawarra Rugby.

The Committee's in place, Coaching staff are ready, Player's are scrambling to return, The "Deck" (Country Rugby's most dedicated social club) is back! and the green pastures of Camden Rugby Club are returning.......

Pre Season 2010

A merry xmas has been had, the new year is approaching and pre season training is about to start.....

Gentlemen Get Ready, season 2010 will be starting on the Tuesday 12th January.

Due to the ongoing works on both the fields at Camden Rugby Park, Pre season training will take place at Onslow Oval in Camden.....

Date: 12th January

Time: 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As part of Camden Rugby Clubs ongoing committment to having the best facilities and playing fields in NSW Rugby, Significant work has taken place over this off season.

The training field (no 2)has been "stripped bare", an irrigation system has been layed and new soil and turf layed.

Xmas Cricket

Come down to Wire this Saturday (19th December) for a some seasonal cricket to celebrate a terrific year and wish all members a Happy Christmas. There will be drinks and BBQ for players and members and of course a little cricket on the main field. Come to watch or step up to the crease!

Camden Rugby AGM

Following a very successful year Camden Rugby Club will be holding it's Annual General Meeting at Camden Rugby Park on Friday 20th November at 7pm.

If there are nominations for any position could they please be sent to the Secretary Phil Wakeford pwakeford@gujaratnre.com.au.

All Members of Camden Rugby Club are invited to attend, There will be drinks and light food available.

Canterbury (CCC) Warehouse Sale

One of our many great sponsors Canterbury are having a warehouse sale from Thursday 12th November to Sunday 15th November.The Sale will take place at 219 - 231 Botany Road, Waterloo NSW.

On Sale will be many Very, Very Cheap Canterbury items including clothing and Jersey's for Men and Women.

Presentation Night 2009

The 2009 Camden Rugby Senior Presentation will be held at the Clubhouse on the 24th of October starting at 6pm for Happy Hour. It should be a terrific way to cap off a successful year and on behalf of Camden Rugby we hope all players and partners can attend.

Cost: $30pp (inc Dinner and Happy Hour Drinks)

Time: 6pm (Happy Hour)

         7pm (Dinner served)

         7:30pm (Speeches and Presentation begins)

Touch comp

Thanks to everyone who came down to the registration night last Wednesday, we will have our eight teams for the touch comp this year.

I ask for everyone to be at the ground at 6pm on Wednesday so we can finish off registration and hand out the team shirts. The first games will be commencing at about 6.30pm however, the gates will be open for people at 5pm if you wish to come down earlier.

2010 Illawarrior Representatives

After a successful season the accolades continue, this time for some talented individuals who will be representing the Rams as part of the 2010 Senior and U/20 Illawarrior Representative squads. No doubt they will continue to export the fine traditions of Camden Rugby at a higher level.
