Three Illawarriors Make Country U/16's

Three Illawarrior Under 16 players have won selection in the NSW Country Under 16 squad for 2015. Bowral flyer Ed Baillieu and University pair, Bailey Lamb and Tom Sutherland all performed well for the Illawarriors during the recent NSW Under 16 State and Country Championships held in Concord earlier in June.

After a shaky start to their weekend campaign the boys regathered to finish with the secondary trophy Shield at the State Champs after finishing a dissappointing seventh in the Country Championships. The boys Country Championships pool included evntual finalists Hunter and Mid North Coast. The Team lost to both zones and were eliminated from the main draw, eventually finishing seventh in the tournament with a solid 17 to 7 play off win against Central North.
