The Butler's Blurb

ButlerHi Illawarra Rugby Followers and welcome to this week’s edition of “The Butler’s Blurb”.

Well it’s time for the big dance and it’s on today. We have six clubs in action with four action packed games of Rugby at WIN Stadium Wollongong.

An interesting statistic is that we have the top two teams in each grade battling the grand final which is proof that hard work throughout the year does pay off come finals time.

It all kicks off at 9.30am with the Colts game between University and Campbelltown. I suggest folks that your grab an early coffee and get in to watch this match as it will be end to end action. It’s a hard one to pick as it comes down to who wants it the most on the day. I’ll take University given their recent form over the Quins to become the first premiers of the day.

The Third Grade action gets underway at 11:10am with Vikings up against Vincentia. This I believe will be the most physical match of the day with both sides trying to win it up the middle. While Vincentia have only lost one match all year, I’m thinking they will not stand up to the grand final pressure and Vikings will take out the third grade premiership this year.

In second grade at 1pm I have one word – Avondale.
