Six Illawarra Players have been selected in the first match of the NSW Country Cockatoos program for 2016. Leading the Illawarrior contingent chosen to play the Australian Under 20 Squad at Chatswood Oval on Saturday night is Shoalhaven forward Aaron Louden. Louden who was named Player of the Tournament at the recent NSW Country Championships will be joined in the Cockatoos second row by Niko Degei from Kiama. On the side of the scrum at Open Side Flanker will be long term Cockatoo, Wollongong University skipper Paul Tuala. Also in the starting lineup on the right wing will be Shamrocks try scoring wizard Rhys Peters. Anthony Allport from Shamrocks and Alex Wilson from Shoalhaven have won places on the bench as back up Hooker and Prop options. The match gets underway at 5.30PM at Chatswood. The Cockatoos will then play the Brumbies Provincial side on June18, with a match against Sydney Subbies a week later on June 25 and their final match will be against Qld Country on July 2.
